When being invited to a Bimplus project, members get their respective roles and thus their project-specific rights.

The project administrator of the Bimplus project can change these initial rights at any time.

To change the role (= rights) of a project member

This is possible only if ...

→ You have opened and logged in to the Bimplus portal ( www.bimplus.net ) using your web browser
→ You have the required rights (see "Rights in Bimplus")

  1. Click the Bimplus logo to open the main page of the Bimplus portal.

  2. Only if you are a member of several Bimplus teams:
    Select the Bimplus team editing the relevant project.

  3. Point to the project in which you want to change the role of a member and click Manage project.

  4. Select the Members category.

  5. Go to the line of the relevant member and open the list box in the Role column. Then click the new role you to want to assign to this member.
    • Project viewer:
      A project viewer can view models, documents and tasks and download documents.
    • Project editor:
      A project editor has the same rights as a project viewer. In addition, a project editor can upload and create models, create revisions, upload documents, edit project details and create, edit and delete tasks.
    • Project administrator:
      A project administrator has the same rights as a project editor. In addition, a project administrator can download and delete models, delete documents, invite members and assign member roles.
