You invite team members to your Bimplus projects separately for each project. If you invite team members to take part in Bimplus for the first time ever, these team members must confirm their participation before Bimplus registers them.
You assign rights to the members of a project team on a project-specific basis. As a team member can belong to several project teams, which may even consist of different Bimplus teams, a team member can have different rights in different projects.
To invite a new team member to your project team
- Click the Bimplus logo to open the main page of the Bimplus portal.
- If you are a member of several Bimplus teams
Select the Bimplus team editing the relevant project. - Point to the project to which you want to invite more members and click
Manage project. - Select the Members category.
- Click Invite users.
- Type the email address of the member you want to invite and select a member role for this member.
- Project viewer:
A project viewer can view models and documents and download documents. - Project editor:
A project editor has the same rights as a project viewer. In addition, a project editor can upload documents and edit project details. - Project administrator:
The project administrator has the same rights as a project editor. In addition, the project administrator can upload, download and delete models, delete documents, create revisions, invite members and assign roles.
- Project viewer:
Click Invite.
If the person invited is registered at Bimplus
The person invited gets an email with a link to the Bimplus project; this person is automatically a member of the project team.Or:
If the person invited is not yet registered at Bimplus
The person invited gets an email with the invitation to Bimplus; this person must confirm his or her participation in Bimplus before he or she becomes a member of the project team.
