If you are the person responsible for handling a clash task, you automatically get an email informing you of the new clash task. Usually, it is your job to assess or solve the issues described in the clash task. To do this, you use the planning data of your specialist model.

In doing so, you can add comments or attachments to the clash task. After editing, you change the status of the clash task to "solved", thus returning the clash task to the person who created it.

To edit a clash task

This is only possible if ...

→  The Bimplus project is loaded in BIM Explorer (see “Loading the building model into BIM Explorer”)
→  You received an email informing you of a clash task you need to edit or check
→  You have the required rights (see “Rights in Bimplus”)

  1. Open the email and select the link to open the clash task on the Bimplus portal.

Note: Of course, you can also open the clash task directly from the task board on the Bimplus portal or the Task Board palette in Allplan.

  2. Edit the clash task (see “Using the Bimplus portal to create, retrieve and edit tasks”).

When you have solved the issue, click Task details and change the Status of the task to Solved.

  3. Click Save.

The person who created this clash task gets an email informing this person of the new status. At the same time, the program moves this clash task from Open clash tasks (yellow) to Solved clash tasks (green).
