If the superimposed models are not positioned correctly after import, you can manually move the models later.

Important!
Bimplus always moves the entire model, irrespective of the visibility settings in the Building structure area.

To move a model

This is only possible if ...

→ The Bimplus project is loaded in BIM Explorer (see "Loading the building model into BIM Explorer")
→ You have the required rights (see "Rights in Bimplus")
→ The Project details palette is open (see "Displaying the Project details palette“)

  1. Click the name of the model you want to move in the Project details palette - Models area.

As you can see, all objects of the selected model are enclosed by a min-max box in full view. In addition, the Details palette opens on the right.

  2. Click Move model in the Details palette - Model position area.

  3. From point
Point to a distinctive point of the model in full view. A circle indicates the identified point. Click to select this point.

The Details palette shows the coordinates of this point in the Bimplus coordinate system.

Note to Allplan users: Allplan and Bimplus use different coordinate systems (z-axis in Allplan = y-axis in Bimplus; y-axis in Allplan = negative z-axis in Bimplus).

  4. To point
In full view, point to the point to which you want to move the first point (from point). Here, too, a circle indicates the identified point. In addition, an arrow shows the vector for the move. Click to select this point.

This locks the vector. You can see the coordinates of the second point (to point) in the Bimplus coordinate system.

  5. Click Confirm.

    This moves the model.
