Bimplus documentation
After having logged in to the Bimplus portal, you can find information on how to work with Bimplus in the Bimplus documentation.
The Bimplus documentation consists of the Bimplus User Guide and the Bimplus Developer Guide (Bimplus API Reference and Bimplus Web SDK Reference).
To open the Bimplus documentation
- Point to your (user) name or profile picture.
The user menu opens. - Click Help on the user menu.
Bimplus user forum
If you want to exchange experiences with other Bimplus users, you can join the Bimplus user forum.
To open the Bimplus user forum from the Bimplus portal
- Point to your (user) name or profile picture.
The user menu opens. - Click Forum on the user menu.
To open the Bimplus user forum from the Allplan Connect service portal
- Go to the title bar of Allplan Connect and click Forum and then All Forums.
- Select BIM PLATFORM.
Bimplus support
Support for Bimplus is available on the Bimplus support portal, which you can access in two ways.
To access the Bimplus support portal
- Open the Bimplus support portal directly (
www.support.bimplus.net
).
If you have not yet registered for the Bimplus support portal, you can do this now for free.
Or:
- Send an email with your request to support@bimplus.net.
The Bimplus support portal creates a ticket for you, processing your request promptly.
BIM compendium
The BIM compendium provides you with comprehensive background information about theory and practice of Building Information Modeling. This book covers the BIM philosophy in general and its underlying ideas and methods. In addition to discussing myths and doubts, this book also looks at the opportunities and advantages of BIM.
In addition, the BIM compendium describes how to work with the BIM philosophy in practice. In other words, it shows you how to use BIM in a real project. You will work your way through the project tasks step by step, learning how and to what extent you can use BIM throughout the project cycle.
The BIM compendium is available in PDF format. You can download the free BIM compendium from the Allplan web site ( www.allplan.com/de/links/bim-leitfaden ) or from the Allplan Connect service portal ( www.connect.allplan.com -> Training -> Documentation), provided you are a registered user of Allplan Connect.
