To move a model

  1. Go to the Project

  1. Click navigation palette - MODELS area and click the name of the model you want to move in the Project details palette - Models area.

    As you can see, all objects of the selected model are enclosed by a min-max box in full view. In addition, the Details palette opens on the right side.

  2. Click Move model in Go to the Details palette - Model position area and click Move model.

  3. From point
    Point Click to select a distinctive point of the model in full view. A circle indicates the identified point. Click to select this point.

    The Details palette shows You can see the coordinates of this point in the Bimplus coordinate system Details palette.

    Note to Allplan users: Allplan and Bimplus use different coordinate systems (z-axis in Allplan = y-axis in Bimplus; y-axis in Allplan = negative z-axis in Bimplus).: You cannot change this point later. If you want to select another point, click Cancel and start again with step 2.


  4. Select destination or enter vectorTo point
    In full view, point to select the point to which you want to move the first point (from point). Here, too, a circle indicates the identified point. In addition, an arrow shows the vector for the move. . You can see the coordinates of the second point in the Details palette.

  5. Click to select this point.

    Or:

    This locks the vector. You can see the Change the coordinates of the second point (to point) vector directly in the Bimplus coordinate system Details palette.

  6. Click Confirm.

    This moves the model.
