Specialist models uploaded in IFC format to Bimplus can be downloaded in IFC format from Bimplus.
Only project administrators of the relevant project can download specialist models from the Bimplus platform.
Note: Specialist models you uploaded from a client such as Allplan directly to Bimplus cannot be downloaded. If you require the data, you must contact the specialist planners directly .
To download a specialist model from the Bimplus platform
- Click
BIMPLUS to open the main page of the Bimplus portal. - If you are a member of several Bimplus teams:
Select the Bimplus team to which the project is assigned. - Click the project from which you want to download a specialist model.
Click
Models on the left sidebar.You can see a list of the current specialist models in the selected project.
- Click
Download in the Options column of the model you want to download. A dialog box opens. Choose to open the model or to save it locally on your computer. Then click OK.
If you want to save the specialist model locally:
Select the folder and file name and click Save.
