Moving the building model freely

You can freely move the building model in BIM Viewer as you would in any animation tool.

To move the building model freely

This is only possible if

→  You have loaded the Bimplus project into BIM Viewer (see "Loading the building model into BIM Explorer")
→  You have a two-button mouse with a scroll wheel or a three-button mouse

  • Hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse to rotate the building model around the global origin.

    Or:

  • Scroll up or down with the wheel to zoom in on the building model or to zoom out respectively. As an alternative, you can also hold down the middle mouse button and move the mouse up or down to zoom in or out respectively.

    Or:

  • Hold down the right mouse button and move the mouse to the left or the right or up or down to move the building model to the left or the right or up or down respectively.

Selecting a predefined view

You can set one of the predefined views on the toolbar at the bottom of the full view.

To select one of the predefined views of the building model

This is only possible if

→  You have loaded the Bimplus project into BIM Viewer (see "Loading the building model into BIM Explorer")

  •  Go to the toolbar at the bottom of the full view, click View and select the view you want to set. You can choose between Front view, Top view, Side view and Perspective.
