Im BIM Viewer können Sie spezifische Informationen zu jedem einzelnen der Objekte abrufen, aus denen sich das Gesamtmodell zusammensetzt. Die Informationen beziehen sich auf Kennwerte und Parameter (Alphanumerik), wie auch auf die Lage und Beziehung zum Gesamtmodell und den Nachbarobjekten (Geometrie).

Die dafür vorgesehene Palette Details gliedert sich i.d.R. in folgende Bereiche:

  • Vorschau
    In der Vorschau können Sie das einzelne Objekt analog zur Ansicht des Gesamtmodells bewegen.
  • Objekteigenschaften
    Hier finden Sie nicht nur die benutzerspezifischen (Allplan) Attribute gelistet, sondern auch globale Angaben wie die Bezeichnung sowie zur Geometrie und Dimension des Objekts.
    So wird z. B. im Abschnitt Element auch angezeigt, aus welchem Modell das Objekt stammt; dies ist vor allem dann von Bedeutung, wenn mehrere Modelle aus unterschiedlichen Quellen überlagert werden und nicht mehr sofort ersichtlich ist, aus welcher IFC-Datei das Objekt stammt.
  • Anhänge
    Als Anhänge sind Kommentare, Dateien (z. B. Screenshots) und Hyperlinks (z. B. auf Webseiten von Herstellern) möglich (siehe „Kommentare und weiterführende Informationen an Objekte anhängen“).

So rufen Sie die zu einem Objekt hinterlegten Informationen ab

  1. Blenden Sie die Palette Details ein.
    Klicken Sie dazu in der rechten Seitenleiste auf Image Modified Details anzeigen.

  2. Klicken Sie im Bauwerksmodell auf das Objekt, zu dem Sie die hinterlegten Informationen abrufen möchten.
    In der Palette Details werden die zum angeklickten Objekt vorhandenen Informationen angezeigt.

Using BIM Viewer, you can retrieve specific information on any of the objects in the overall model. This information includes the object's values and parameters (alphanumeric data), its position in the model and information on how the object interacts with adjacent objects (geometry).

You can find this information in the Details palette, which usually consists of the following areas:

  • Preview
    You can move the element displayed in the preview in the same way as in the full view.
  • Object properties
    This area lists not only user-specific (Allplan) attributes but also global information on the object such as its name, geometry and unit.
    For example, the element section also shows the model from which the object comes. This is particularly useful if the building model consists of a number of superimposed specialist models from various sources and you cannot find the IFC file containing the object in question.
  • Attachments
    Attachments are comments, files (for example, screenshots) and hyperlinks (for example, pointing to web sites of manufacturers) (see "Attaching comments and further information to objects").

To retrieve information on an object

  1. Open the Details palette.
    To do this, click Image Added Show details on the right sidebar.

  2. Go to the building model and click the object of which you want to see the details.
    The Details palette shows all available information about the object clicked.
