You can use the Project details palette on the left and the toolbar at the bottom to control which parts of the building model are visible and how these visible parts look in BIM Explorer by using the Project navigation palette to the left of the full view and the toolbar under the full view of BIM Explorer.

Using With the Project detailsnavigation palette, you can show or hide entire specialist models, particular object types or entire structural levels. Using With the toolbar, you can hide objects or isolate objects by making all other objects transparent.

Displaying the ‘Project details’ palette

The Project detailsnavigation palette gives you an overview of the data structure of the currently open current project and all its specialist models. You can use the Models and Building structure By using the MODELS and BUILDING STRUCTURE areas in this palette to , you control which objects are visible in full view. As the settings in these two areas overlap, you can BIM Explorer displays only see objects that are visible in both areas.

In addition, you can use the Models MODELS area to make models or their subordinate object types transparent.

To show or hide the Project
