Was ist BIM?

BIM steht für Building Information Modeling, das „Modellieren von Bauwerksinformationen“. Der Begriff bezeichnet den Prozess und die Methodik zur Erstellung und Pflege eines digitalen Bauwerksmodells als virtuellem Abbild eines realen Bauvorhabens.

Das Bauwerksmodell besteht in seiner Gesamtheit aus der Überlagerung der einzelnen Fachmodelle aller beteiligten Fachdisziplinen, die die jeweils spezifischen und für bestimmte Zwecke nutzbaren Gebäudeinformationen enthalten. Indem es sowohl Informationspool als auch Datenplattform für alle projektrelevanten Parameter und Kennwerte bildet, dient das Bauwerksmodell allen Projektbeteiligten als Entscheidungsgrundlage und ist somit Dreh- und Angelpunkt des BIM-konformen Planungsprozesses.

Erstellung und Pflege des Bauwerksmodells erfolgen während der Planungs- und Bauphase in einem zyklischen Workflow sich wiederholender Einzelschritte, wodurch Informationsdichte, Detaillierungsgrad und Planungssicherheit beständig anwachsen.

Dabei werden die Fachmodelle der einzelnen Disziplinen in regelmäßigen, durch den BIM-Ablaufplan festgelegten Abständen zu Koordinationsmodellen zusammengeführt, die bezüglich ihrer Informations- und Planungsqualität geprüft, besprochen und abgestimmt werden. Daraus resultierende Korrekturen, Ergänzungen oder Planänderungen werden in der Folge durch die verantwortlichen Disziplinen aufgearbeitet und die überarbeiteten Planungsdaten erneut zur Verfügung gestellt.

Bimplus ist der von der Allplan GmbH angebotene Service, der es Ihnen erlaubt, sämtliche aus den unterschiedlichen Fachdisziplinen stammenden Planungsdaten eines Projekts produktunabhängig zusammen zu führen und allen Projektbeteiligten zeitgleich als Informationsgrundlage zur Verfügung zu stellen.

Über die hierzu von der Allplan GmbH gehostete Webplattform Bimplus, zu der Sie durch Ihre Registrierung sowohl über Allplan als auch über das offene Webportal Bimplus Zugang erhalten, gewähren Sie den anderen von Ihnen dazu „eingeladenen“ Planungspartnern direkten Zugang zum jeweils aktuellsten Planungsstand.

Doch das ist bei weitem nicht alles: Das Webportal Bimplus bietet Ihnen außerdem alle erforderlichen Funktionalitäten, um die Fachmodelle der unterschiedlichen Planungsdisziplinen zu überlagen, auf Planungsfehler und Kollisionen zu prüfen, Ihre Planungspartner auf Problemstellen hinzuweisen und die zur Problemlösung notwendigen Aufgaben zu verteilen.

Die Up- und Downloadaktivitäten werden zudem protokolliert, sodass sich jederzeit nachvollziehen lässt, wer welche Daten zur Verfügung gestellt, einen Download durchgeführt oder Änderungen vorgenommen hat.

Bimplus ist damit unabdingbares Werkzeug für die Erstellung und Pflege eines digitalen Bauwerksmodells und damit für eine effiziente Steuerung Ihres Projektablaufs nach der BIM-Methode.

What is BIM?

BIM stands for Building Information Modeling. This term describes the process and method of creating and maintaining a digital building model as a virtual copy of a real construction project.

The building model as a whole consists of various superimposed specialist models created by all disciplines involved in the project. Each of these specialist models contains the information required for the discipline in question. Being not only the information tool but also the data platform for all project-specific parameters and characteristics, the building model acts as a decision-making basis for all project participants. Consequently, the building model is at the center of the BIM-compliant planning process.

Project participants create and maintain the building model during the planning phase and the construction phase. These maintenance steps form a cyclic workflow, steadily increasing information density, level of detail and reliability of planning data.

At regular intervals laid down in the BIM schedule, the project participants combine the specialist models into coordination models and check, discuss and adjust the information quality and planning quality of these models. The responsible disciplines then work through the resulting corrections, additions or changes. After this, they will make the updated planning data available again.

What is Bimplus?

Bimplus is a service offered by Allplan GmbH. Using this service, you can combine all project-specific planning data created by various disciplines and simultaneously provide all project participants with these data. In doing so, you are not limited to a particular product.

Using the Bimplus web platform, which is hosted by Allplan GmbH, the other planning partners you have invited can directly access the data of the current planning state. Once you have registered, you can open Bimplus straight from Allplan or from the open Bimplus web portal.

But that is not all: The Bimplus web portal provides all the functions you need to superimpose specialist models created by your planning partners from various disciplines and to check the models for planning errors and collisions. In addition, you can inform your planning partners of problems and assign tasks for solving these problems.

Bimplus logs all upload processes and download processes so that you can always keep track of who uploaded, downloaded or changed which data and when.

As you can see, Bimplus is an indispensable tool for creating and maintaining a digital building model, helping you to control and handle projects using the BIM method.
