Navigating

Moving the building model freely

You can explore the building model by moving it freely in BIM Explorer.

To explore the building model

→ The →  The Bimplus project is loaded in BIM Explorer (see "Bauwerksmodell in den BIM Explorer laden")
→ You →  You have a two-button mouse with a scroll wheel or a three-button mouse

  • Hold down Select and hold the left mouse button and move the mouse to rotate the building model around the global origin.

    Or:

  • Scroll up or down with Move the wheel to zoom in on or out of the building model or to zoom out respectively. As an alternative, you can also select and hold down the middle mouse button and move the mouse up or down to zoom in or out respectively.

    Or:

  • Hold down Select and hold the right mouse button and move the mouse to the left or the right or up or down to move the building model to the left or the right or up or down respectively.

Selecting a predefined view

You can select one of the predefined views on the toolbar at the bottom.

To select one of the predefined views of the building model

  • Go to the toolbar at the bottom, under the full view and click View and select the view you want to set Select view. You can choose between Front view, Top view, Side view and Perspective view.
