Clash detection is based on object classes. When checking for clashes, the program always scans all objects of the Bimplus project currently loaded into BIM Explorer, regardless of whether some specialist models or structural levels of the building structure are visible or invisible. Using overlap tolerance, you can define the value by which two objects can overlap. As soon as this value is exceeded, the program will detect a clash.

You can then create a task for each clash detected and appoint the person responsible for handling this task. First, the task is an ‘open clash task’. After editing, the person responsible sets the task to ‘solved’. Consequently, the clash task gets the ‘solved clash task’ status. As soon as a clash task is ‘closed’, the program removes the entry and the associated clash from clash manager. However, Task Board still lists the clash task together with the other tasks.
