Bimplus manages rights on a two-level basis: First-level rights are the access rights at team level; second-level rights are the access rights at project level.
At team level, a team member with administrator privileges for the entire Bimplus team assigns superordinate rights. At project level, a project member with administrator privileges for the project in question (this is usually the BIM coordinator responsible for the construction project) assigns access rights to the other project members.
The following roles are available at project level:
- Project viewer
Rights:
- Viewing models
- Viewing and downloading documents
- Viewing tasksissues
- Viewing project properties
Role can be assigned by:
- Project administrator
- Team administrator
- Team owner
- Project editor
Same rights as the project viewer; plus:
- Creating models
- Uploading and downloading models
- Creating revisions of models
- Creating, editing, and deleting hierarchical structures
- Uploading documents
- Creating, editing, and deleting tasksIssues
- Editing project properties
- Checking for clashes
Role can be assigned by:
- Project administrator
- Team administrator
- Team owner
- Project administrator
Same rights as the project editor; plus:
- Deleting models
- Deleting documents
- Inviting and removing project members
- Assigning member roles at project level
- Assigning a property set template
Role can be assigned by:
- Team administrator
- Team owner
The following roles are available at team level:
- Team member
Rights:
- No rights at team level
- Can Can be given any role at project level
Role can be assigned by:

Same rights as the project administrator; plus:
- Inviting and removing team members
- Creating and deleting projects
- Appointing Appointing and deleting project administrators
- Appointing and deleting other team administrators
- Managing licenses
- Defining, changing, and deleting property set templates

- Team owner
- Team owner
Same rights as the team administrator; plus:
- First team administrator of a Bimplus team
- Owner of the Bimplus team
- Changing the team name
- Role cannot This role cannot be changed
Role cannot can be assigned by:
- The Bimplus user who opens a Bimplus team automatically becomes the team owner
