The property library of Bimplus contains two property databases: the Bimplus database and the Team database.

Whereas the Bimplus database cannot be changed, the Team database can be changed. This means that you can add your own properties and property groups to the team database or edit existing entries.

Note: The team database of a new team is empty; the team administrator must fill it with data.

Creating new property groups

You can create a new property group only under an existing property group (or directly under the Team database entry). You cannot create another library element under a property.

To create a new property group

→ Property manager is open (see “Opening the property manager“)

  1. Click  in the Property library column to expand the tree structure for the Team database as far as the required hierarchical level.

  2. Point to the property group under which you want to create a new property group and click Add group.

You can see the Create property group dialog box.

  3. Enter a group name and a description for the new property group.

  4. Click CREATE.
