Creating new property groups

You can only create a new property group under an existing property group (or directly under the Team database entry). You cannot create another library element under a property.

To create a new property group

1. Click in the Property library column to expand the tree structure for the Team database as far as the hierarchical level you require.
   
   

2. Point to the property group under which you want to create a new property group and click Add group.

   The Create property group dialog box opens.
   
   

3. Type a group name and a description for the new property group.
   
   

4. Click CREATE.

Adding new properties

You can insert a new property at any structural level in the Team database property library.

To add a new property to the library

1. Click in the Property library column to expand the tree structure for the Team database as far as the hierarchical level you require.
   
   

2. Point to the property group to which you want to add a new property and click Add property.

   The Create property dialog box opens.
   
   

3. Type at least a name for the new property and define its type.
   
   

4. Click CREATE.

Editing properties and property groups

To edit the characteristics of a property or property group

1. Click in the Property library column to expand the tree structure for the Team database as far as the hierarchical level you require.
   
   

2. Point to the property or property group you want to edit and click Edit.

   The Edit property or Rename property group dialog box opens.
   
   

3. Make the required changes.
   
   

4. Click EDIT or SAVE.
