The property library of Bimplus includes contains two property databases: the Bimplus database and the Team database.

Whereas the Bimplus database cannot be changed, the Team database can be changed. This means that you can add your own properties and property groups to the team database . In addition, you can or edit existing entries.

Note: The team database of a new team is empty. The ; the team administrator must fill it with data.

Creating new property groups

You can create a new property group only under an existing property group (or directly under the Team database entry). You cannot create another library element under a property.

To create a new property group

  1. Click Image Removed Image Added in the Property library column to expand the tree structure for the Team database as far as the required hierarchical level you require.

  2. Go Point to the property group under which you want to create a new property group and click Image Removed Image Added Add group.

    The You can see the Create property group dialog box opens.

  3. Enter a group name and a description for the new property group.

  4. Click CREATE.

Adding new properties

You can insert add a new property to the property library at any structural level in under the Team database property library entry.

To add a new property to the library

  1. Click Image Removed Image Added in the Property library column to expand the tree structure for the Team database as far as the required hierarchical level you require.

  2. Go Point to the property group to which you want to add a new property and click Image Removed Image Added Add property.

  3. Enter a name for the new property and define its type.

  4. Click CREATE.

Important!
When you change the characteristics of a property in the property library, Bimplus automatically applies the changes to all team property sets including of the team that contain the changed property changed.

To edit the characteristics of a property or property group

  2. Go Point to the property or property group you want to edit and click Image Removed Image Added Edit.

  3. Make the required changes.

  4. Click SAVE.
